Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks Bridge Coatings Inspectors to support multiple projects across Illinois and nearby states. Responsibilities include inspecting, accepting or rejecting work per specs, and preparing detailed reports. Travel to job sites is required, with possible night shifts. Qualified AMPP/CIP1 inspectors with bridge coating experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• AMPP Coatings Inspector with CIP 1 level and at least 1 year of bridge coating inspection experience
• Preferred SSPC Bridge Coating Inspector (BCI) certification
• Preferred SSPC C3 Supervisor and Competent Person Training for Deleading of Industrial Structures

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, and/or reject work per specifications or codes
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports on conditions, progress, weather, acceptability
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed
• Some assignments may include night shifts
