Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. seeks Bridge Coatings Inspectors to support projects across North and South Carolina, with start anticipated in Spring/Summer 2026. Experience in transportation or municipal projects is preferred. Proficiency with review of submittals and plans is a plus; travel to multiple sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIP 1 Coatings Inspector certification and at least 1 year inspecting bridge coating projects.
• Certifications such as SSPC Bridge Coating Inspector (BCI) and SSPC C3 Supervisor preferred.
• Proficiency reading plans and specifications in English, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, or reject work per specs or codes.
• Monitor waste materials and traffic control as specified.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports on conditions and progress.
• Travel to multiple job sites; some shifts may be night assignments.
