Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks highly qualified Bridge Coatings inspectors to support projects across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and other Midwest states.

The role requires inspecting coating work, ensuring compliance with specifications, and coordinating travel to various job sites. The team emphasizes safety and quality, with opportunities for advancement within a multi-discipline firm that serves transportation infrastructure and building systems nationwide.

Qualifications

• AMPP Coatings Inspector CIP 1 or higher
• At least 1 year of bridge coating inspection experience
• SSPC Bridge Coating Inspector (BCI) or SSPC C3 Supervisor certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, and/or reject work per specifications or codes.
• Monitor waste materials and traffic control as specified.
• Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports on conditions and progress.
• Prepare other reports as required by clients.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Some assignments may include night shifts
