Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. seeks Bridge Coatings Inspectors to work on transportation projects across Virginia. The role requires inspection of coatings, review of submittals, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. Travel to multiple job sites is common, with some night shifts possible.

Experience reviewing contractor submittals and knowledge of coatings inspection is preferred. A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are expected for site visits.

Qualifications

• Only AMPP Coatings Inspectors will be considered.
• Minimum CIP 2 level in coatings inspection and at least 1 year of bridge coating inspection experience.
• Preferred certifications include SSPC BCI and SSPC C3 Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, or reject work as per specifications and codes.
• Monitor waste materials and traffic control as specified.
• Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports of conditions, progress, and safety.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Some assignments may include night shifts.
