Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
• Must lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Compliance with all safety policies; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods

Responsibilities

• Measures distance and marks guidelines on working surface to prepare for laying down work
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units for bridges, drainage, walls, and other structures
• Assists with installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs (if decking is removed)
• Uses carpenter’s belt with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
