MasTec Civil is currently hiring carpenters to join our team!

A Carpenter is a craft hourly-rated position involved in interpreting basic engineering drawings to fabricate and secure lumber, steel, and other elements to produce structures required by the industry.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain tools required for carpentry tasks.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble formwork.
• Place vibrating and finishing concrete.
• Manage generators, water pumps, compressors, and power tools.
• Use curing compounds, epoxies, and other chemicals appropriately.
• Construct MSE walls and support systems.
• Use fall protection harnesses correctly.
• Review operations and suggest improvements.
• Provide verbal and written status reports.
• Be a dependable worker willing to learn and follow policies.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of carpentry experience in construction preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
