Overview

We are seeking a Bridge CAD Technician Inspector to create design drawings for bridge projects and conduct bridge inspections. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of bridge projects, from new constructions to rehabilitations, of varying sizes and complexities. Initially, the role involves assisting with onsite bridge inspections, with the potential to lead these inspections over time.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD, adhering to client, Department of Transportation (DOT), and internal standards.
• Draft and review plan sheets for bridge construction projects.
• Produce detailed plans, including typical sections, reinforcement bar bending diagrams, concrete details, and steel beam details.
• Coordinate with roadway, water, environmental, survey, and utility engineers.
• Assist with onsite bridge inspections, data entry, and report preparation.
• Manage inspection equipment and schedule inspection personnel.
• Progress to leading onsite bridge inspections.
