Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural BIM Specialist 3 in Kansas City, MO. As an employee-owner, you’ll contribute to highway and bridge projects within the Bridge Group, advancing BIM elements and digital delivery in line with the DDP.

You’ll model in 2D/3D with Microstation, maintain discipline models, and support coordination reviews with other disciplines. The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, at least five years in the field, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in structural design.
• Minimum 5 years in related industry.
• Proficient with 3D design software and BIM workflows.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Bridge Group with minimal direction.
• 2D bridge plan emphasis in Microstation with some 3D.
• Create and maintain discipline model per LOD and DDP.
• Produce discipline specific documentation with accurate annotations.
• Coordinate design with other discipline models.
• Execute all Digital Delivery requirements.
