Job summary

Shane Co. seeks an Assistant/Associate Merchant (Bridal) to support product and assortment strategies across jewelry categories. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely launches aligned with Shane branding and goals.

The role focuses on trend research, vendor relations, and in-season adjustments while partnering with merchants on pricing and assortment extensions. On-site and remote work balance is required in Denver's market.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of fashion buying experience in retail.
• Demonstrated market fashion trend knowledge.
• Successful relationships with external vendors and internal teams (planning, marketing, stores).
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Merchandising, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports the selection of styles in accordance with the Corporate Merchandise Strategy.
• Researches and identifies emerging trends.
• Assists in development of exclusive designs reflecting Shane model.
• Partnering with merchants on pricing strategy and architecture.
• Assist in Sales Growth/Trend assumptions and assortment extension opportunities.
• Execute Loose Stone Assortment Strategy.
• Build and maintain concept sheets to support design intent and product storytelling.
• Track and update line plans and product documentation across internal systems.
• Help monitor in-season sales and provide recaps or opportunities to the Merchant.
• Assist merchant in item maintenance such as discontinuations and category SKU clean-up.
• Work with vendors on design, product, style selection.
• Occasionally attend jewelry shows to view latest styles and build vendor rapport.
• Build trend information and share with training teams, store/vault and marketing.
• Occasionally travel to select retail locations to review trends for each market.
• Monitor and track store feedback and organize insights to guide merchant decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing to establish product and display standards.
