Position SummaryThe Bridal Attendant provides personalized assistance to the bride (and often the bridal party) before, during, and immediately after the wedding ceremony and reception. This role ensures the bride’s comfort, organization, and seamless coordination throughout the event while working closely with the hotel’s banquet, catering, and event teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Event PreparationMeet with the bride and/or wedding coordinator to review timeline, preferences, and special requestsEnsure bridal suite is fully prepared (clean, stocked, organized, and set up per specifications)Confirm arrival times for hair, makeup, photography, and vendorsCoordinate with hotel departments (banquets, housekeeping, front desk, catering)Day-of Wedding SupportRemain with or readily accessible to the bride throughout the eventAssist with dressing (gown, veil, shoes, accessories)Manage personal items (bouquet, phone, emergency kit, gifts, valuables)Provide refreshments and ensure the bride eats and stays hydratedHandle minor wardrobe fixes (bustle gown, fix train, stains, loose buttons, etc.)Keep event timeline on track in coordination with wedding planner or banquet managerServe as liaison between bride and hotel staffHigh School diploma or equivalent.Food service experience a plus.Ability to remember and recite menu items.Work schedule varies and will include working on holidays and weekends.Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 35 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.Job descriptions and responsibilities are subject to change depending on business needs.
