Job summary

Athletic Brewing Company LLC is hiring for Assistant Brewer and Production Brewer roles in Milford, CT and San Diego, CA. Compensation starts at $25/hour for Assistant Brewer and $27.50/hour for Production Brewer, with level-based adjustments after internal evaluation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; brewing degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience in cellaring and brewing production is valued.
• Prior food production experience is valued.
• Experience with general brewing tools and sanitation systems is valued.

Responsibilities

• Learn the brewing process starting in the cellar and basic sanitation practices.
• Carry out sanitation activities including cleaning floors, drains, and equipment.
• Assist in wort production: receiving ingredients, milling, mashing, boiling, transfers.
• Support cellar activities: monitoring, CIP/SIP, yeast handling, transfers.
• Perform DO, CIP verification, pH and gravity readings; assist QA.
• Participate in safety walks and apply corrective actions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
