Job summary

Anheuser-Busch in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Utilities Operator to maintain and troubleshoot brewery utility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work in a team or independently to ensure equipment quality and maximum up-time.

The role covers steam, CO2 collection, ammonia and glycol refrigeration, dehumidification, compressed air, and water systems. A high school diploma and familiarity with automated controls are required; 24/7/365 shift work including nights/weekends

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with automated process control systems.
• Experience with steam boiler or refrigeration.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings; troubleshoot problems.
• Prior PSM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate brewery utilities systems including steam, CO2 collection, ammonia and glycol refrigeration, dehumidification, compressed air, and water.
• Active and certified participant in the brewery’s HAZWOPER emergency response team.
• Perform chemical treatment for boiler water, cooling tower water, and pasteurizer water.
• Responsible for process management, maintenance tasks, lubrication, housekeeping, and sanitation.
• Document and respond to events during shift; support operating department requests.
• Interpret piping and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs); select and implement fixes.
• Perform PM, PdM, and general corrective maintenance to improve up-time.
• Analyze process data to drive equipment efficiency; lead/participate in continuous improvement (PDCA, Lean Six Sigma).
• This is a 24/7/365 facility - shift work incl. nights, weekends, holidays.
