Job summary

Odell Brewing in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Packaging Operator to run can, keg and bottle lines with close attention to product quality and packaging integrity.

The role demands physical work, adherence to safety protocols, and a team-oriented mindset. Shift is Monday-Thursday, 4 x 10 hours, ~40 hours weekly, with 2nd shift from 2pm to midnight.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Self-motivation to go above and beyond for the sake of quality.
• Experience and demonstrated ability to work well within a dynamic team.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced and demanding environment.
• An interest in creating community through beer.
• A solid grasp on rudimentary arithmetic.
• An aptitude to learn and adhere to safety standards.
• Forklift certification (Provided by employer)

Responsibilities

• Operation of can, keg, and bottle lines to package beer and wine with high attention to quality and safety.
• Evaluate carbonation levels and adjust accordingly.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing, ensuring package appearance reflects product quality.
• Clean and sanitize packaging machinery and environment.
• Maintain vigilance for potential mishaps and risks.
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support packaging line by supplying bottles, kegs, and packaging materials during production.
• Promptly pick up finished product from production lines.
