Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a packaging technician in Longmont, CO to support bottling, canning, and kegging processes on a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts. This full-time role includes benefits, PTO, and a beer culture.

Ideal candidates will have forklift experience, strong communication, and a passion for beer production. Safety and teamwork are emphasized as you operate in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Experience driving a forklift.
• Knowledge of beer and brewing process.
• A passion for great beer and hard work.

Responsibilities

• Packaging operations such as bottling, canning, kegging, dock work and sanitation.
• Lifting 55lbs repeatedly and up to 75 lbs occasionally; team lifting for heavier items.
• Standing for long periods, climbing stairs/ramps, and moving in tight spaces.
• Maintaining forklift certification and safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Working in extreme cold and heat with moderate to high noise levels; around potentially dangerous equipment.
• Availability to work days, evenings and weekends on rotating shifts.
• Assisting in other areas when possible/needed.
