Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation's Samuel Adams Breinigsville brewery seeks a Maintenance Leader, Packaging to own the line reliability and proactive maintenance programs. You will drive TPM-based maintenance, lead planning and scheduling, supervise technicians, and push root-cause analyses to prevent downtime while maintaining safety and GMP compliance.

This role requires a BA/BS in a relevant field and 4+ years of leadership in production, with strong collaboration, data-driven mindset, and hands-on

Qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership in production/manufacturing.
• Direct experience leading maintenance improvements (TPM/TPS).
• Ability to influence change with a flexible, positive approach.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Minitab, and statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Owns breakdown elimination, defect handling, and maintenance planning for the line.
• Drives maintenance work with planning/scheduling and top-loss awareness.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to minimize downtime and boost reliability.
• Leads root-cause analyses of major downtime and implements countermeasures.
• Supports line teams during problem solving activities.
• Drives continuous improvement with data to improve line availability.
• Develops TPM-based standards and ensures consistent execution.
• Provides training on Machinery Operation and creates training materials.
• Serves as technical resource for maintenance and production on the line.
• Tracks KPIs and publishes maintenance metrics regularly.
• Creates/updates maintenance strategies with preventive/predictive plans and spare parts.
• Promotes a safety-first culture and compliance with PPE/LOTO/GMP.
