Job summary

Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont, CO is seeking an entry-level Blender Operator to perform basic blending and batching tasks under supervision. The role reports to the Cellar and Blending/Batching Manager and requires reliability, punctuality and the ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities include weighing and staging flavorings and additives, monitoring carbonation, maintaining quality and safety standards, cleaning vessels, logging information, and supporting general cleaning and organization.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and stage flavorings, juice, and additives for blending/batching.
• Monitor and correct product carbonation prior to packaging.
• Clean and maintain finishing vessels per SOP.
• Log information accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Escalate problems to coworkers and management immediately.
• Follow SOPs to safely handle chemicals and hoses under pressure with PPE.
• Assemble and break down hoses and parts as required by process.
• Perform general cleaning tasks (sweeping, scrubbing, organizing).
• Begin training on transferring/blending equipment per SOP.
