HOMES Brewery is a microbrewery in Ann Arbor, MI, specializing in IPAs and fruited sours paired with Asian-inspired street food. Over the past five years, we've gained a loyal following and grown into one of the most innovative and highest-rated breweries in Michigan and the United States.

We're looking for passionate, hardworking individuals to join our team and grow with us. The Brewpub Bartender role is perfect for someone interested in tackling exciting new challenges in the craft beer industry. Our ideal candidate is a natural people person, loves guest service, and is eager to develop their skills!

Who You Are:

• Passionate about beer and beverages, with a strong desire to learn
• Team player, optimistic, empathetic, and able to handle conflict constructively
• A natural connector who enjoys building and maintaining relationships
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and can follow directions while adapting to changing circumstances
• Flexible schedule
• Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, and occasionally lift heavy objects
• At least 21 years old

What You'll Do:

• Assist in coaching a team of 30+ across two locations
• Build and maintain relationships with guests, creating new fans
• Participate in daily food and beer tastings to ensure quality
• Provide input to the General Manager on new beer trends and beverage ideas
• Work closely with the FOH team during service and events
• Collaborate with our other brands (DOZER & Smooj)
• Work with the GM and FOH team to solve problems and improve processes
• Represent HOMES at beer events and festivals as a brand ambassador
• Perform other tasks that contribute to our company's growth and success

Requirements:

• Knowledge and passion for the beer and beverage industry; brewery experience is a plus but not required
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations confidently and gracefully
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems, such as Toast

Pay:

$12.48 plus tips
