Job summary

Aloha Beer Co. in Honolulu seeks an experienced Brewer to lead day-to-day production, ensuring consistency and quality across a growing portfolio. This hands-on role requires proficiency in high-volume brewing and strong collaboration with the Brewmaster, Packaging, Quality, and Operations teams.

You’ll own fermentation control, sanitation, records, and process improvements as the brewery scales, with benefits including health coverage, 401(k), PTO, and opportunities for leadership growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of professional brewing in a production brewery.
• Experience running brewhouse and cellar operations independently.
• Strong understanding of fermentation health and quality fundamentals.
• Comfort with SOPs and production schedules.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and work safely in production.

Responsibilities

• Execute brewhouse operations including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and wort transfer.
• Manage fermentation and cellar operations, including yeast handling and transfers.
• Maintain sanitation with CIP/SIP procedures and strict records.
• Monitor fermentation performance and address issues proactively.
• Support packaging operations to maintain smooth production flow.
• Collaborate with quality teams to ensure release-ready beers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
