Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Per Diem Breast Ultrasound Sonographer to operate imaging equipment and produce high-quality breast ultrasound images at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, onsite at 2014 Washington Street, Newton, MA.

The role requires ARDMS registration, breast ultrasound experience, CPR/BLS certification, and comfort with adolescent to older adult patient care. It is a per diem position with benefits including parking and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered diagnostic medical Sonographer.
• Prior Breast Ultrasound experience required.
• CPR Certified (BLS).
• Knowledge of adolescent, adult and older adult patient needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality Breast ultrasound images under physician direction.
• Perform sonographic images, procedures, and duties following hospital policies.
• Evaluate patient history and symptoms to guide diagnostic imaging in a safe, efficient environment.

Job Summary Per DiemFree Parking and new rates!Minimum pay rate for this position is $42.38 per hourOperates imaging equipment to produce high-quality Diagnostic Breast ultrasound images; requires in-depth knowledge of Breast anatomy and physiology. Performs sonographic images, procedures, and duties under the direction of a qualified physician and clinical manager. Performs all activities according to Federal, State, local, and hospital policies. Ability to evaluate patient medical history and pertinent patient symptoms followed by diagnostic sonographic imaging based on protocols while operating in a safe and efficient environment.
