Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Diagnostic Breast Ultrasound technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce high-quality breast ultrasound images on-site at 2014 Washington Street. The role requires in-depth knowledge of breast anatomy and related procedures, with duties performed under supervision of a physician and clinical manager.

The ideal candidate will have a Registered diagnostic medical Sonographer credential, prior breast ultrasound experience, CPR/BLS certification,

Qualifications

• Registered diagnostic medical Sonographer with appropriate credentials.
• Prior breast ultrasound experience required.
• CPR certified (BLS).
• Knowledge of adolescent, adult and older adult patient needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality Diagnostic Breast ultrasound images.
• Performs sonographic images, procedures, and duties under the direction of a physician and clinical manager.
• Performs all activities according to hospital policies and safety protocols.

Job Summary

Per Diem Free Parking and new rates! Minimum pay rate for this position is $42.38 per hour Operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality Diagnostic Breast ultrasound images; requires in-depth knowledge of Breast anatomy and physiology. Performs sonographic images, procedures, and duties under the direction of a qualified physician and clinical manager. Performs all activities according to Federal, State, local, and hospital policies. Ability to evaluate patient medical history and pertinent patient symptoms followed by diagnostic sonographic imaging based on protocols while operating in a safe and efficient environment.

• Registered diagnostic medical Sonographer.
• Prior Breast Ultrasound experience required.
• CPR Certified (BLS).
• Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adolescent, adult and older adult patients preferred.
