Job summary

TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for breast imaging, traveling between the main facility and affiliated Breast Centers to provide imaging services as needed.

Ideal candidates will hold RDMS in Breast Ultrasound, ARRT Mammography, and have at least 1 year of ultrasound experience with strong patient care and communication skills. Travel to multiple centers is required to support breast imaging services.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification with Breast Ultrasound (BREAST RDMS) required.
• ARRT Mammography registration required.
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience, Breast focus preferred.
• Active state licensure as required.
• AHA BLS certification required on hire.
• Experience in outpatient or hospital imaging settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures, specializing in breast ultrasound.
• Ensure accurate imaging for diagnostic purposes and communicate findings to physicians.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Follow all safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide patient education and support to ensure comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility protocols.
• Travel to Breast Centers as scheduled to provide imaging services.
