Job summary

TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital seeks an Ultrasound Technologist with specialized breast ultrasound expertise to join our imaging team. This role requires travel between our main facility and affiliated Breast Centers to provide imaging services as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an active BREAST RDMS, ARRT Mammography certification, and at least 1 year of ultrasound experience with a focus on breast imaging, along with BLS certification and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Active RDMS certification with a Breast specialty (BREAST RDMS) is required.
• Registered in Mammography by the ARRT.
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience, preferably in breast imaging.
• Active state licensure as required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Experience in outpatient or hospital imaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality breast ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Communicate imaging findings to physicians.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment.
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide patient education and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate patient records per facility protocols.
• Travel to Breast Centers as scheduled.
