Qualifications

• Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• Registration as a Vascular Technologist (ARDMS) preferred/required based on role.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations as per Radiology/Ultrasound Procedure Guide.
• Assesses patient condition and documents findings accurately and promptly.
• Aids in training and mentoring other staff.
• Maintains quality and safety standards per hospital and accrediting bodies.
• Ensures equipment is functioning optimally and performs QC tests.
• Pursues continuing education to maintain lab accreditation.
• Coordinates communication within radiology team and other departments.
