Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking a Breast Sonographer to perform Screening ABUS and Diagnostic Breast Ultrasounds, including complex procedures, within The Breast Center of Northwest Arkansas. You will work under supervision of senior staff, maintain QA, and ensure patient comfort while following established protocols.

The role requires ARDMS or ARRT certification and CPR, with preferred ARDMS Breast Registry and Arkansas Radiological License.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARDMS or ARRT.
• CPR certification required.
• Preferred: ARDMS Breast Registry, ARRT Radiology & Mammography, Arkansas Radiological License.

Responsibilities

• Perform Screening ABUS and Diagnostic Breast Ultrasounds.
• Perform complex and specialized breast procedures.
• Follow procedure protocol defined by Radiologists.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and handle equipment with care.
• Maintain QA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplies and equipment inventories in Ultrasound suites.
• Communicate with Lead Sonographer and Radiologists regarding questions or concerns.
• Prepare the ultrasound suite and review patient history.
