Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine (as applicable).
• New York State License in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound (as applicable).
• Current registration with ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent credentialing body.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership experience.
• In lieu of leadership experience, six (6) years of clinical experience as a technologist will be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily technical operations within assigned radiology sections to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Coordinates staffing assignments and workflow to meet operational needs.
• Monitors imaging procedures for compliance with orders, protocols, and quality standards.
• Serves as a resource for technologists on procedures, policies, and problem resolution.
• Escalates operational, staffing, or patient care issues to management as appropriate.
• Assists with onboarding, orientation, and training of new staff; provides coaching and feedback.
