Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn seeks a Mammography Technologist in Sunset Park. Under Radiologist supervision, you operate mammography equipment to produce diagnostic images and perform routine breast procedures.

You will ensure MQSA and ACR standards, code exams, and manage PACS image delivery. Strong communication, attention to detail, and clinical teamwork are essential to support high-quality patient care in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State license required.
• ARRT certification and Advanced Certification in Mammography.
• 1–2 years radiologic technology experience.
• Proficient in PACS and digital imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Instructs radiography students in clinical practicum and performs exams with students
• Assists in care and maintenance of facilities, equipment and supplies
• Enters proper exam coding and ensures timely exams
• Complies with MQSA and ACR standards for mammography
• Operates radiology mammography equipment to produce diagnostic images
