Job summary

The CHI Health Clinic, in partnership with Creighton University Medical Center, seeks a breast surgical oncologist to join the Department of Surgery. You will provide comprehensive breast oncology surgery within a large integrated health care system, with academic affiliation and opportunities for clinical research and collaboration with a renowned Breast Health Center.

Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to education and innovation in breast cancer care within CHI Health and Creighton

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Accredited fellowship in Breast Surgery.
• Active or eligible Nebraska medical license.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad-based Breast Oncology Surgery within an academic medical center and Breast Health Center.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team with mentorship opportunities.
• Participate in the department's academic mission and clinical trials.
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience with Creighton University School of Medicine.
• Support scholarly endeavors and collaboration with Creighton Henry Lynch Cancer Center.
• Engage in AI-assisted mammography initiatives.
• Use EPIC electronic medical records for patient care.
