Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine, in partnership with CHI Health and Creighton University Medical Center, seeks an academic orthopaedic surgeon specializing in oncologic surgery to join our expanding clinic practice in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the integrated Oncology Service Line to provide comprehensive patient care and achieve the highest quality outcomes.
• Lead the new orthopaedic residency program and the Orthopaedic Center of Excellence at CHI Health.
• Perform surgical treatment of orthopaedic oncologic conditions, including fracture repair, soft tissue management, nerve repair, and arthroscopy.
• Conduct and supervise research in collaboration with university scientists and faculty.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship trained in Tumor/Sarcoma.
• Experience in fracture repair, soft tissue management, nerve repair, and arthroscopy.
