Job summary

Creighton University Medical Center CHI Health is seeking a breast surgical oncologist to join the Department of Surgery within the Division of Breast Surgery in Omaha, NE. You will provide comprehensive breast cancer care and surgery within a large integrated health system and referral network.

The role emphasizes education, research, and collaboration with Plastic & Reconstructive services, with opportunities for clinical trials and basic science partnerships at Creighton Henry Lynch Cancer

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Accredited fellowship in Breast Surgery.
• Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and health-care professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad-based Breast Oncology Surgery within an academic medical center and Breast Health Center.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team with opportunities for mentorship.
• Participate in the academic mission of the department.
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience; potential for collaboration with Creighton University Medical Center researchers.
• Engage in clinical trials and translational research.
• Collaborate on AI-assisted mammography initiatives.
