Job summary

Texas Oncology/Texas Breast Specialists in Austin Midtown is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Breast Surgery team. This full-time role supports the Austin Midtown location with coverage at Bastrop on Fridays, working Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with no weekends or major holidays.

The CMA level will depend on experience, from Level 1 to Sr, supporting patient care, exams, and clerical duties in a fast-paced oncology clinic.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0-3 years experience for entry level; 3+ years for Level 2; 5+ years for Level Sr
• BCLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and back
• Record vitals and patient data prior to visits
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures
• Administer injections as delegated
• Maintain aseptic prep and room disinfection
• Handle clerical tasks and maintain schedules
