Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota seeks a full-time oncologist to provide direct patient care across the cancer continuum, including prevention, early detection, treatment, survivorship, and research. The role involves inpatient and outpatient responsibilities at the Allina Health Cancer Institute in Coon Rapids, MN, with outreach to another cancer institute location.

A multidisciplinary team and Epic EMR support care coordination.

Qualifications

• Must hold Doctoral/Ph.D.-level degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an approved school

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and review of medical history for cancer patients.
• Oversee oncologic patient care across hematology, breast, colon, lung, esophageal, leukemia/lymphoma, prostate and gynecologic cancers.
• Coordinate information to support treatment decisions and patient education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage side effects and symptoms of cancer and ensure quality care.

Education

MD/DO degree (Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) or foreign equivalent
