Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide breast oncology survivorship care within an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes independent decision-making with physician collaboration, and requires delivering comprehensive care from survivorship through ongoing follow-up.

The NP will perform assessments, order imaging and labs, educate patients, and coordinate referrals while documenting care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Oncology experience strongly preferred; oncology rotation may substitute for professional experience.
• This is a 5/8's position working Monday to Friday with no calls or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive breast survivorship care for patients who are cancer-free or in remission for 3-5 years, including 6-12 months of follow-up monitoring.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clinically complex patients and develop individualized care plans with input from patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions per established clinical protocols and document in the EMR.
• Coordinate referrals to physical therapy, behavioral health/mental health services and other resources.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, medication management, lifestyle changes, vaccinations, survivorship care, and self-management.
