Michigan Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) for the breast medical oncology outpatient service. The 1.0 FTE role involves direct patient care, treatment planning, clinical trial eligibility, and collaboration with the Cancer Center team.

This position requires current Michigan licensure, NP/PA certification, DEA, BLS, and oncology experience. Employment includes benefits and flexible work modes including hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner recognized by NCSBN; Adult-Gerontology Acute Care/Primary Care NP, etc.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program; DEA registration; BLS; oncology experience.
• ARC-PA accreditation for PA program; NCCPA certification; Michigan PA license; DEA registration.

Responsabilités

• Management of breast medical oncology patients in outpatient settings.
• Perform history, physicals, evaluation, and develop care plans with physicians.
• Identify candidates for clinical trials and provide education and support.
• Monitor treatment toxicities and provide symptom and palliative care.
• Review labs/pathology/radiology; participate in tumor boards and clinical research.
• Collaborate with other APPs and attend CME activities related to oncology.

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Nurse Practitioner certification recognized by NCSBN

Michigan NP license

ARC-PA accredited PA program

NCCPA certification

Michigan PA license

DEA registration

BLS certification
