Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center invites applications for the APP Breast Oncology Fellowship, a 12-month program starting March 2027. Licensed APRNs or PA-Cs will specialize in evaluation, management, and treatment of oncology patients, with training in operating room first assist duties.

The Fellow works within the Breast Oncology Program, providing patient care under MMG guidelines and advancing cancer prevention and cure efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Board certification in APRN or PA-C.
• Florida APRN/PA‑C license one month before start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required during fellowship.
• Experience in oncology or internal medicine; critical care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinates evaluation, management and treatment with specialists.
• Formulates treatment plans within scope of practice.
• May perform minor surgical procedures as appropriate.
• Prescribes medications within scope and documents care.
• Engages in research projects and presentations.
• Participates in tumor boards and educational activities.
