Job summary

Quincy Medical Group is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support breast imaging through high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care. You will work with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure accurate images and patient comfort throughout the exam.

Responsibilities include performing mammography, positioning, safety, and maintaining records while collaborating with the team to ensure smooth scheduling and timely results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility within established timeframe.
• Illinois medical radiation technologist accreditation required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Previous mammography or breast imaging experience preferred.
• Strong technical skills and commitment to image quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations per protocol.
• Position patients and obtain high-quality images with comfort and safety.
• Explain procedures and provide reassurance throughout the imaging experience.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment following safety standards.
• Review images for technical quality and notify radiologist of any needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and imaging team to optimize scheduling and patient flow.
