Job summary

University of Chicago Medicine is seeking a Mammography Technologist in the Radiology Department. Under the direction of a Radiologist, you will produce breast radiographs to aid in diagnosis and treatment for both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients.

This 100% onsite role requires intimate patient contact and strong communication. Responsibilities include imaging quality control, patient education, data entry, regulatory compliance, and assisting in breast interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have AMA approved Radiologic Technology education.
• ARRT Mammography certification required.
• IEMA license in Illinois required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Imaging breast radiographs to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure data accuracy in RIS/PACS and patient records.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Assist physicians in breast interventional procedures.
• Maintain infection control and safe patient interactions.
