Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required; ARRT‑M preferred.
• BLS and completion of a 6-month orientation.
• Individuals with at least one year of experience can be hired directly into this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a Mammography Technologist I.
• Explain procedures to patients with age-appropriate language and verify understanding.
• Perform exams per established imaging protocols while ensuring patient comfort.
• Adhere to policies and protocols and document deviations or patient-specific issues.
• Notify the health care provider when immediate clinical action is needed.
• Complete post-processing, image display, and transfer for physician review in a timely manner.
• Routinely cover open shifts based on competency.
• Initiate service calls and follow up until issues are resolved.
