• Adheres to ACR imaging guidelines to achieve optimal radiographs.
• Educates patients about procedures and maintains a safe, comfortable environment.
• Communicates breast cancer risks and imaging information to patients.
• Participates in departmental quality improvement activities and documentation.
• Collects and documents patient information accurately and timely; assists in follow-up.
• Trains new mammography technologists in imaging techniques and quality improvement.
• Identifies and helps rectify equipment problems; inventories supplies.
