Job summary

Required AMA-approved education, BLS, and ARRT radiography with mammography credentials; CT/MR ARRT certifications preferred. 2 years of related experience preferred; a sign-on bonus of $10,000 is noted.

Qualifications

• Graduate from AMA approved school with applicable radiology training.
• Hold BLS certification from AHA or ARC by start date.
• Texas ARRT radiography license, plus ARRT Mammography by start.
• ARRT CT or MR certification preferred; multiple ARRT credentials welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy and protocol suitability; screen for contraindications.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for exams with proper labeling.
• Assist physicians during procedures and ensure timely completion of imaging.
• Perform QC checks and report equipment issues; participate in accreditation tasks.
• Post-process images and support hand-offs; maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
