Job summary

The Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health invites applications for a Breast Imaging Radiologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor on the Tenure Track.

The chosen candidate will be a recognized leader in artificial intelligence and population health, with NIH-level funding experience, and will contribute to research strategy, mentorship, and career development.

Qualifications

• WI Medical license by the start date of the position.
• Board-certified or board eligible in American Board of Radiology (ABR) by the start date of the position.
• Completion of a Diagnostic Radiology Residency and breast-imaging fellowship training including mammography, ultrasound, and breast MRI and image-guided breast biopsies are required by start date of position.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, research, and patient care.
• Interpreting and reporting image studies and/or image-guided procedures within the Breast Imaging section; on-call duties as needed.
• Teaching responsibilities include lectures, conferences, and clinical assignments; training of residents, fellows, and medical students; support for research career development.
• Establish an independent multidisciplinary research group and collaborate with AI and population health researchers across UW.
