Job summary

MUSC Health's Department of Radiology & Radiological Science in Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor for its Breast Imaging Division. This clinician-educator role involves participation in academic activities and leading teaching sessions for residents and medical students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in breast imaging including ultrasound and MRI, and a genuine desire to contribute to both education and patient care. Tenure track faculty position available with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have an MD or equivalent degree, be ABR Board certified, and fellowship trained.
• Experience in all aspects of breast imaging including ultrasound and MRI is required.
• Candidates must be able to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in academic activities and lead teaching sessions for residents.
• Provide clinical practice in MUSC's main campus and off-site facilities.
• Perform breast imaging procedures and manage call coverage.

Skills

Experience in breast imaging

MD or equivalent degree

ABR Board certified

Fellowship-trained

Ability to perform Tomosynthesis, MRI and US-guided breast biopsy
