Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to provide state-of-the-art breast imaging services including mammography with tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI. You will participate in breast tumor boards and collaborate with surgical, medical, radiation oncologists, and pathologists to ensure superior patient care.

A key focus is mentoring diagnostic radiology residents and contributing to residency education.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Breast Imaging fellowship completed at an ACGME accredited facility
• Active Washington State medical license or eligible for licensure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive breast imaging services using state-of-the-art diagnostic and screening technologies
• Engage in multidisciplinary breast tumor boards and collaborate with surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists and pathologists
• Educate and mentor diagnostic radiology residents and contribute to residency education
• Interpret studies across multiple modalities based on training and interests
