Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle seeks a Body and Ultrasound Radiologist to join a patient-centered team, focusing on teaching residents and interpreting a broad range of imaging studies including CT, MRI and ultrasound. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by ABR.
• Body or Ultrasound Imaging fellowship completed at an ACGME facility.
• Active WA medical license or eligible for licensure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
• Interpret studies in one or more modalities; ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CT, MRI and ultrasound studies with ultrasound preferred.
• Educate and mentor radiology residents in clinical practice.
• Participate in tumor boards and clinical conferences to guide care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists and referring physicians to optimize outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
