Job summary

Emory University seeks a Breast Imaging physician to join our multi-center program. You will interpret 2D and digital mammography, tomosynthesis, and breast MRI, and perform MRI-guided and other image-guided procedures, including breast ultrasound, in a collaborative team.

Requirements include fellowship in Breast Imaging, ABR certification or eligibility, Georgia medical license eligibility, and expertise in interventional procedures and MRI interpretation.

• Unrestricted Georgia medical license eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret digital mammography, 2D mammography and tomosynthesis studies.

Job description

• Provide breast imaging services across Emory's multi-center breast imaging program
• Interpret digital mammography, 2D mammography, and digital tomosynthesis studies
• Interpret breast MRI examinations and perform MRI-guided procedures
• Perform image-guided breast procedures under tomosynthesis, stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guidance
• Provide breast ultrasound services
• Participate in clinical, educational, and/or research missions
• Collaborate in collegial interdisciplinary patient care
• Work with nurse navigators and technologist navigators at breast center sites
• Commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule according to department guidelines and business needs

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
• ABR board-certified or board-eligible
• Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Expertise in breast interventional procedures
• Expertise in 2D and digital tomosynthesis interpretation
• Expertise in MRI interpretation and procedures
• Expertise in breast ultrasound
• Must reside in the state of Georgia
• Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based on business needs
• Clinical patient contact and work with radioactive materials or devices
