Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a fellowship-trained abdominal imaging radiologist to interpret MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and radiographs. You will provide on-site services at Emory University Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital and remote interpretations for additional Emory and Grady sites.

The role requires ABR board certification or eligibility, Georgia residency, and license eligibility with flexible weekly scheduling to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging required.
• ABR board-certified or board-eligible.
• Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical license.
• Residency in Georgia required.

Responsibilities

• Provide abdominal imaging interpretation for MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiographs, and fluoroscopy.
• Provide on-site interpretive services for Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown and Grady Memorial Hospital.
• Provide remote interpretive services for additional sites across Emory Healthcare and Grady Health Systems.
• Collaborate closely with referring services.
• Participate in clinical, educational, and/or research missions.

Job description

• Provide abdominal imaging interpretation services
• Perform MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiograph, and fluoroscopy interpretation of the abdomen and pelvis
• Provide on-site interpretive services for Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Grady Memorial Hospital
• Provide remote interpretive services for additional sites across Emory Healthcare and Grady Health Systems
• Collaborate closely with referring services
• Participate in clinical, educational, and/or research missions
• Work within a division that does not perform image-guided invasive procedures

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging
• ABR board-certified or board-eligible
• Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Residency in the state of Georgia required
• Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based on business needs
• Clinical patient contact
• Work with radioactive materials or devices

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in abdominal imaging interpretation, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. Holds fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging and is ABR board-certified or board-eligible, with eligibility for an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
