Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a Breast Imaging Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee QA/QC programs, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the breast imaging services at McLeod Regional Medical Center. You will ensure MQSA and related standards are met while collaborating with leadership, physicians, and technologists to maintain diagnostic quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years Mammography experience.
• Minimum of two years QA/QC testing experience.
• Experience with MQSA, FDA, ACR, and other regulatory standards.
• Proficiency with EHR, PACS, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC programs to ensure MQSA, FDA, ACR and other standards compliance.
• Perform QA/QC testing of mammography equipment, including calibration and image quality assessment.
• Maintain records related to QA/QC activities, audits, corrective actions and inspections.
• Investigate imaging discrepancies, equipment issues, and patient concerns with timely resolution.
