Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to deliver high-quality breast imaging and support interpretation. You will apply x-ray energy to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation while following radiation safety standards and MQSA guidelines.

The role supports day-one benefits and involves shifts of 5 eight-hour days or 4 ten-hour days. You will document procedures in the Radiology Information System and uphold patient care, safety, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program.
• Must maintain CME points as mandated by MQSA.
• ARRT registration as Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care during mammography imaging and related procedures.
• Apply x-ray energy to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and MQSA/ACR guidelines.
• Utilize Radiology Information System to document and code procedures.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Maintain compliance with Baptist Health policies and quality control tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and stocked rooms.
• Prioritize workload to manage multiple priorities.

Education
