Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Mammography Quality Control Coordinator to supervise and perform QC/QA activities within the Breast Center. You will coordinate daily patient procedures across mammography and related exams, while collaborating with radiology leadership to ensure MQSA compliance and data-driven performance tracking.

The role requires radiologic technology education, CT licensure, and ARRT mammography certification, plus strong communication and data skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program; bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Current Connecticut Licensure; ARRT certification in Radiography, Mammography; Quality Management preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to coordinate with medical and technical personnel; ability to use department computerized system.

What You Will Do

• Coordinates the day-to-day activity of patient procedures for mammography, general diagnostic, Bone Density, and Interventional Breast examinations.
• Additionally, this position requires participation in technical mammographic procedures in the Comprehensive Breast Center.
• The incumbent will work closely with the Chief Breast Radiologist and radiology management to ensure compliance with MQSA standards and to monitor key performance metrics.
• The position involves coordinating all activities related to the collection, tracking, and reporting of data and metrics pertaining to Mammography and Breast Imaging.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a recognized approved AMA council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology, bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Licensure: Current Connecticut Licensure. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography, Mammography, Quality Management preferred.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel. Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all hospital personnel. Ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department’s computerized system and its associated devices. Three years appropriate technical skills in general diagnostic radiology and mammography.
