Job summary

Charlotte Radiology is seeking a Technologist Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative and clinical support in the breast services environment. The role supports diagnostic technologists and radiologists across imaging workflows and patient care processes.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00–4:00 or 7:30–4:30; Location: Charlotte, NC. The candidate will assist with scheduling, patient communication, and room preparation while adhering to safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Medical experience preferred.
• Administrative or customer service experience required.
• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read and interpret medical reports.
• Familiarity with mammography setting.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify all pertinent information for patient visits, including prior imaging.
• Call patients for priors/baselines/callbacks/post-biopsy as needed.
• Schedule follow-up patient appointments as needed.
• Assist with patient throughput and provide patient support as needed.
• Prepare clinical procedure rooms and paperwork.
• Assist technologists and physicians with clinical procedures as needed.
• Provide post-procedural care information and follow-up as directed by staff.
