Location: Eddy Street Campus - 211 N. Eddy Street, South Bend, IN 46617

Hours: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday; 7:30 AM‑4:00 PM or 10:00 AM‑6:00 PM. Option for four 10‑hour shifts available.

Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
Experience
  • Customer service, telephone, or administrative experience required; medical, radiology, mammography, or women's health experience preferred

  • Ability to learn and use specialized EMR and tracking systems
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
  • Provides non‑clinical operational support for the mammography and breast imaging program.
  • Coordinates patient follow‑up, supplemental breast imaging, and dense or high‑risk breast tracking while supporting compliance with MQSA (FDA) and ACR guidelines.
  • Tracks dense breast, high‑risk, recall, and biopsy patients using Epic mammography tracking tools.
  • Schedules additional mammography views, breast ultrasound, MRI, biopsies, and follow‑up imaging according to protocols.
  • Ensures timely patient follow‑up and escalates delayed or missed appointments.
  • Supports compliance with MQSA (FDA), ACR, and dense breast notification requirements.
  • Enter and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Generates and tracks patient result letters and biopsy outcomes.
  • Answers patient calls and voicemails and provides professional, empathetic customer service.
  • Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Makes independent scheduling and prioritization decisions within established department protocols.
  • Escalates complex clinical or operational concerns to the Mammography Manager or radiologist.
  • Does not have supervisory or budgetary authority.
